Velodrome is a spin-class routine builder made by Four Dimensional. This policy explains what information Velodrome collects, why, and how it's used.
Account information. When you sign in with email, Google, or Apple, we (via our backend provider, Supabase) store your email address and, if you set one, a display name shown on playlists you publish.
Your library. Tracks, markers, and the intervals you build (names, timing, RPE/RPM/resistance guidance) sync to your account so they're available on any device you sign into. Your custom interval types and fields sync the same way.
Shared playlists. If you publish a playlist to share, its name, tracks, and your display name become visible to other Velodrome users who browse shared playlists. Anything you don't publish stays private to your account.
Now Playing access (Android only). If you grant Velodrome's "Now Playing access" permission, it reads the song title, artist, and app name currently playing in another music app on your device — this is how Companion Mode captures a playlist without needing a direct integration with every music app. Velodrome only reads this media metadata; it does not read the content of your notifications.
Microphone. Velodrome may briefly use your microphone (a few seconds at a time) to estimate a track's tempo and suggest an RPM target. This audio is analysed on your device and immediately discarded — it is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
Purchases. Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play; Velodrome and our subscription provider, RevenueCat, receive confirmation that a purchase was made and its status, not your payment details.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Only the providers needed to run the app: Supabase (account and library storage), RevenueCat (subscription status), and Apple or Google (sign-in and payment processing). Each only receives what it needs to perform its role.
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account within the app. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
Velodrome is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll let you know within the app.
